FEATURING JENNY PANCOAST IN Greenville, SC’s TOWN Magazine: ART & STYLE ISSUE
Jenny Pancoast helps clients express their personal brand
Long before the first fashion photos were snapped for TOWN’s Style Issue, the style had to be defined. Which retailers would be spotlighted? Which silhouettes would best represent the aesthetic? What colors and textures would pop? Fortunately, answering questions like that is stylist Jenny Pancoast’s dream job–one she’s turned into a thriving business.
A graduate of Furman University, Pancoast had already spent nearly a decade in corporate marketing in her hometown of Atlanta before moving back to Greenville five years ago with her husband, Zach.
“Early in my career, I was fortunate to collect experience working for a designer in New York, overseeing campaigns for a national retailer, serving as director of marketing for real estate companies, and consulting internationally,” she says. “With motherhood on the horizon these last several years, I felt compelled to find balance, pursue a passion, and reshape the landscape of my career.”
With the necessary tools in her kit, it was time to turn her longtime hobby—helping friends and family find styles to suit everything from weddings to corporate boardrooms to the everyday—into a livelihood. Founded in 2023, Jenny Pancoast Styling leverages her background in fashion, branding, and customer experience to guide more than 150 clients in defining and expressing their personal brands.
“Many clients first engage with me as they find themselves entering into new stages of life. They’re often trying to figure out who they are from a style standpoint as they’ve had a child, started a new role, or retired,” Pancoast says. “I help them define their personal style and navigate how best to express that through clothing and accessories, all while building up confidence.”
That entails intentional clothing curation and personal shopping, as well as closet edits to help clients refine and refresh their wardrobes. In addition to styling individual clients for daily wear, events, and travel, Pancoast partners with lifestyle brands and editorial outlets to bring their storytelling to life. Pancoast’s styling work has been featured in British Vogue and Charleston Weddings—and now, this issue of TOWN.
“The Style Issue is an engaging way to demonstrate to Greenville all of the vibrant pieces to which we have access,” she says. “The fashion scene is getting bigger and better here with each year. As a stylist, it’s a beautiful thing to be able to highlight local retailers and support the people and boutiques that make our town so unique.”
